Where does Shea come from ?
This tree grows in the savanna, in the sub-saharan
climate. It represents a fundamental domestic trade item in this
area and is a typical harvest product along with gums and nuts.
The fruit looks a bit like a small avocado and the pulp is sweet
and edible.
The kernel contains around 50% of naturally antioxidant fatty
acids.
In the African tradition, Shea also is a core element of the
mother-child relationship.
